Vicky commenced her training for the NHS in psychiatric nursing in 1977, she then went on to work as a police officer for a number of years before returning to health care to work with adults with learning disabilities as a residential social worker in the community and within a Day Centre setting. Over the last 10 years she has worked within the field of mental health services in the community.
Vicky commenced her counselling training in 1999 and has been working as a counsellor within GP surgeries and in private practice for the past five years.
