WHAT IS INVOLVED.

Counselling is a commitment to the process by both counsellor and client. Specified time is put aside each week by both parties to meet together and work with the issues presented by the client. All appointments last for approximately one hour.

Counsellors receive ongoing supervision to help them help their clients and keep their practice safe and up to date. Supervisors are bound by the same code of ethics regarding confidentiality as counsellors.

Cathy Hopkins and Vicky Avenell work from a consulting room in Old Town,
Stratford-upon-Avon. The room is comfortable and quiet and conducive to the counselling process.

FEES All appointments including the initial session are charged for, and can be paid for  by cheque or in cash directly to the counsellor at the end of each session.

CATHY HOPKINS MBACP [Accred.]  COUNSELLOR AND SUPERVISOR     

£40 - £50 per 1 hour counselling or supervision appointment.

VICKY AVENELL  MBACP [Accred.]  COUNSELLOR

£35 - £45 per 1 hour counselling appointment.

CORPORATE FEES – Please contact Cathy Hopkins who will discuss contracts on an individual basis.

PROFESSIONAL BODY Both Cathy Hopkins and Vicky Avenell are accredited  members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy [BACP]. As individual members we are bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the professional Conduct Procedure therein.
